qr signage

Some of the section signs at Cleveland Calvary have been replaced with qr codes that takes you to a sales page.  Supra is the style of the old signs.
Some of the old signs had peeled away paint, some almost bare.  The marketing idea is crass.  Methinks, this one of the money raising schemes recommended by hired consultants.  The diocese is run like a business.

Two Cemeteries Road

Two Cemeteries Road is a driveway in Marblehead Ohio.  On one side of the gate it has a stone for St. Joseph Parish, and the other side for Holy Assumption (Russian Orthodox, Karpati Rus).
St. Joseph's has the bigger portion.
Crucifix for two priests
Orthodox cross
St. Joseph hews a post.
It is sad to see infant graves. It was not unusual to have later children named after deceased children.
The graveyard overlooks a limestone quarry.

Persepolis in Cleveland

A new monument is ready, and waiting for a day when the owner perishes. This winged lion, with  a bearded man's face stands guard. Such sculptures were found in Persepolis, when Alexander came and conquered.
On either short side of the monument are these three, almost like pall bearers.

new construction

Construction seems to be busy throughout Cleveland, well especially downtown, and University Circle. A big mausoleum is the first burial spots in a large section of Lake View.

The assembly phase is in progress. The delivered pieces are being laid out in order.
Carefully marked out holes, perhaps to go onto a spindle, or rod?
